TEL AVIV (02 January, 2018) — The DAV Foundation is pleased to announce that Ethereum blockchain expert and founder of ENS Nick Johnson will be joining their advisory board.
“The addition of Nick to our advisory board signals a significant boost to our Ethereum expertise. The extent of his hardware and software engineering knowledge, particularly as it pertains to Ethereum and blockchain technology, is prodigious,” said Noam Copel, CEO of the DAV Foundation. “We are excited for the promise that Nick’s creativity and knowledge bring to the table for DAV, and look forward to sharing ideas with him.”
Mr. Johnson is the founder of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), a decentralized human-readable naming system for Ethereum resources. ENS was received enthusiastically by the Ethereum community, who engaged in thousands of bids for .eth domain names. Mr. Johnson is also the founder of the successful Ether Cards product, a gift-card service for Ether cryptocurrency. “I’m excited to be working on DAV, particularly with this stellar team,” said Johnson. “I have a passion for projects that are world-changing and that result in better social outcomes as well as new opportunities for all. DAV fits those criteria admirably.”
The DAV Foundation has assembled a core operations team of professionals to accomplish the project’s long-term goals, with technology experts such as Mr. Johnson providing advice and strategic perspective.
