TEL AVIV (21 December 2017) — The DAV Foundation is pleased to announce that serial tech entrepreneur Jay Adelson has joined its advisory board.
Mr. Adelson was named as one of Time Magazine's “Top 100 Most Influential People in the World” in 2008. Over the past two decades, he co-founded and was the chief executive of a series of highly influential Internet, media, and data companies—including Digg, Opsmatic, and Revision3. Adelson co-founded and ran Equinix, the largest data center provider in the world with a market capitalization of over $35 billion, providing data centers for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Netflix, NASDAQ, Chevron, Salesforce, and many others. Additionally he served as the chief executive for SimpleGEO, a location-aware services company for developers of mobile applications. Most recently, Adelson co-founded Center Electric, a technology venture-capital firm specializing in early-stage projects supporting the Internet of Things.

The DAV Foundation has assembled a core operations team of professionals to accomplish the project’s long-term goals, with industry experts such as Mr. Adelson providing advice and strategic perspective. Other leading experts will be announced as additions to the DAV team in the coming weeks.
